Re: PTT latch external mic audio GD-77
Many external mikes are wired with the microphone ground connection connected to the PTT pin (Outer of the 3.5mm Jack). The PTT pin is connected to ground (outer of 2.5mm jack) when either the external or internal PTT is pressed. So the external microphone is only connected when the PTT is pressed....

Re: PTT latch external mic audio GD-77
YesI did see them, but my PTT is not triggered by RF and the audio only fed through only when keeping the PTT switch closed.
Also one of my GD-77 is connected to an external antenna with same symptom and the symtom is same on < 50mW RF with the antenna on the radio.

Re: NA7Q - Unofficial Firmware Build [9/20][GD-77]

Re: NA7Q - Unofficial Firmware Build [9/20][GD-77]
Hi Mike,
Thanks great work runs stable for several day now.
The only thing I miss is the double push orange button to start scan, which was in 1.60, not a big deal, but convenient in the dark as the orange is easier to find than green.

Hi
Thank you very much for you effort
I notied that short press green leads to options.
At 1.60 it leads to zones which IHMO was more convenient.

Re: NA7Q - Unofficial Firmware Build [4/24][GD-77]
Ah, this is great, thanks Mike.
I even like the double press organe, as I have one of my GDs in the car on the dashbord in the base stand, where it is musch easier to press on the top key than on front keys (usng the thump and one finger)

Re: NA7Q - Unofficial Firmware Build [4/24][GD-77]
Hi Mike, Thanks. Wasn't it possible to return the long press up arrow in channnel mode to scrolling again, rahter than start scanning? I haven't had time to dive into it yet. So this build is just an update with the latest bug fixes and general code changes. This week I should be able to take a loo...
