Hi Marko,

No, it's not included in the release Roger has made today.
At the same time, I've added something (still locally) to try to get rid of the ghost frame bug.

Cheers.

OK. I'll continue to test "your branch", so to call it temporary. ;)

Thanks Daniel.

I've build a version based on master branch, including the modifications you're using, plus some cleanup, like sharing the same USB buffer as the CPS communication uses.
...
Daniel, does it mean that you have included changes in "latest" FW from today, plus your additions?

Thanks!

Roger, just one question, does this update includes changes made by Daniel to hotspot operation (bug fixes mainly)?

Re: Update 29th Jan

Daniel, Try some other BM server. I had some problems, more using one ISP then the other, so I changed server and it's better. Other thing, just had a "ghost frame" after more then 9 hours. :? Edit: just to mention again, it's just a "cosmetic" bug, it doesn't affect functionality, GD77 and Pi-Star ...

Re: RF Gain decrease in sensitivity

Radioddity GD-77 has simple direct conversion receiver, as opposed to more complicated and more expensive superheterodyne one. Direct conversion is infamous for going "deaf" when overwhelmed with RF signals, as is for receiving (opening squelch) for all kinds of interference. So, as said, it is not ...

Re: Update 29th Jan

Daniel, I had no problems whatsoever with your latest FW (posted in that other thread) used as a hotspot, not even dropouts in regular use, mostly RX on local TG220 and global TG91. Also I have 10-11k contacts in DMR ID list. It's not full, but it's alot for this device. I'll continue testing this F...

Re: Hotspot Mode - GD77 Reboots mid call

Hi Marko, No, it's not the server or ISP fault, it's the modification I've put in that version. Anyway, I will probably post another test version tomorrow. But with the above version, you can already check if you get those ghost frames. Cheers. --- Daniel OK, just checking, sorry to ask, but people...

Re: Hotspot Mode - GD77 Reboots mid call

In hotspot. But I think I've found another way for this. Give me some time. Cheers. --- Daniel Hmm... Are you sure? Have you tried changing BrandMeister server? I haven't had any dropouts on our local TG 220 and now, since you mentioned it, I'm listening TG 91 without any dropouts too. Let me expla...

Hmmm, this one introduce a lot of dropouts... Need to think about another possible solution.

Cheers.

Dropouts? In hotspot mode, or in regular use (as transceiver)?
