Okay, I've tested the new CPS and everything seems to be working as it should. I can now download the entire DMR ID database to my radio, although it does take a while. ;) I have noticed an issue with the last heard screen on the radio, but I don't know that it's related to the larger flash chip. Well, I didn't realize I needed a chip with a specific ID code. Live and learn I guess.

I found the datasheet for a W25Q128JV-DTR that shows an ID of 7018h.

Well, the CPS is actually able to restore the backup okay, but some of the other functions don't work.

My chip clip identifies it as a W25Q128JV-xM device.

Well, that figures. What's the ID code of the original flash chip?
