Re: Another HAM-friendly scan feature: "Zone Link"
There is one other feature to scanning that you may have overlooked. Every channel has two ‘Flags’ included. These are called ‘Zone Skip’ and ‘All Skip’. These control which channels are scanned in the Zone and in the All channels Zone. Using these flags you can control exactly which channels are s...

Re: Localistion support (foreign languages)
Hi Fabio, I was going to raise a PR, but the translation for ".scan_dwell_time" is way too long, as ":480ms" (max) have to fit on the right side. Really sorry Daniel, my bad! Let's see if this way it can be fine: .scan_dwell_time = " Ciclo SCAN " italian.zip " Ciclo SCAN " is 10 characters, " :480ms...

Re: Localistion support (foreign languages)
Hi Fabio,
I was going to raise a PR, but the translation for ".scan_dwell_time" is way too long, as ":480ms" (max) have to fit on the right side.
I just tried to use Google Translate, and it's even longer than the good French translation (which I had to shorten).
Cheers.

Re: Possible HotSpot bug
Hi, Out of curiosity, can you tell me the MMDVMHost version that is running on your Pi-Star ? (MMDVMHost -v result). I'm asking you because I've made some quick tests, got some transmissions with packet loss, but the transmission is still active in that case. FYI, i'm always using the latest code fr...

Re: Possible HotSpot bug
ok the issue isn't there in the October build. It survives up to 30% packet loss without early termination of the transmission. Same radio, same cable, same antenna setup same pi3b pi-star 4.1.4 build. Can you give me the hotspot firmware version (the one displayed in the Pi-Star dashboard) ?. Chee...

Re: Installation of opengd77 killed communication with the radio
Hi, Hey all. I just downloaded and installed the CPS and latest firmware file (as of 21MAR21) and after installation onto my radio it no longer communicates with the computer. So, I have 2 GD-77s. I decided to test the firmware on the new radio and it took the firmware update just fine and operates ...
