Re: New OpenGD77 CPS 2024-03-09

what is force DMO? In simple terms, it allows split frequency DMR operation. Normally when the Tx and Rx frequencies are not the same, DMR radios assume that the channel is for repeater operation, and changes the DMR protocol to RMO mode, rather than DMO aka Simplex Note. There has just been a bug ...

Re: New GD-77 / GD-77S / RD-5R / DM-1801 Beta

Re: Should green LED and signal meter be active regardless of timeslot?

I'm new to DMR.. Lets say I'm tuned to a repeater on TS2. Should the green RX light and the signal meter be active when nothing is happening on TS2 but there is an active talkgroup on TS1? I'll hear silence on the static talkgroup I have specified on TS2 the radio, yet the LED and signal meter will...

Re: Baofeng DM-1701 no comunication pc w10.

Hello. I have purchased a Baofeng DM1701, when I connect it to my PC, which is Windows 10, it detects it as a sound device whether I turn it on in normal mode or if I turn it on in DFU mode. I have read that Windows 10 has problems when interpreting this walkie. The problem is that neither opengd77...

Re: New GD-77 / GD-77S / RD-5R / DM-1801 Beta

Hi all. I have a TYT MD9600, a MD380UV and a Baofeng DM1801 with the latest version of Opengd installed, the version with the new option "Force DMO". The three transceivers have the same behavior the first time they are powered on. When you are on a duplex channel with Force DMO option set to NO , ...

I am not sure how to do this. I have a Tiny SA and a NanoVNA.
Neither device can accurately measure the frequency

Try manually tuning to plus or minus a few hundred Hz using the VFO
