I want to upgrade my GD-77 with the GD-77 open program and cps how do I go about this so an idiot can do it.

Hi all When i program the radio with want my code plug is set up fine but freqs are deaf green light comes on but no audio this has me at a loss , so i reprogrammed still the same so this time i replaced software and firm ware still deaf on some freqs . So this time wiped it clean so to start again ...
