It does the same thing for me but every 5-10 minutes but only in HOLD mode. That is, the scan stops and emits initial melody. I am using the version of February 7 but it was also doing it with previous versions.

Everything works fine. The only note to make is that the CPS takes only 16 ID characters max, insufficient to display name and surname. 73

I placed this latest update on all 3 of my GD77s Audio sounds great. For me one one GD77 i didn't have beep till i just turned it off and on again.. Actually I wouldn't mind an option to shut off the startup beep. That was i can get on and not wake anyone!! Thanks it is working great here to disabl...
