Re: Audio Stuttering
Thanks Roger. Just to report that I connected to a repeater on the way to and from work today, successfully bounced a few tests off a TG9990 and heard a variety of calls. All worked well and haven't had a single stutter since tuning the MMDVM and taking the oGD-77's OSC to 990. Thank you to you and ...

Re: Audio Stuttering
Ok. Those values are quite low. I don’t know if you also use your radio with a repeater, as you may have problems if the value is being set to match your Hotspot, as a Jumbospot etc is not a good calibration reference Ok, so given your steer here, as well as previous comments on the thread about th...

Re: Audio Stuttering
OK The 990 is probably one of the lowest values I have seen, but I think some files people sent me went as low as 985 What value was originally in the radio ? Original value was 996. Today I've been dropping it by one and listening until it stutters. The lower I go, the bigger the gap between a stu...

Re: Audio Stuttering
So, after adjusting it one step at a time and then testing, I found no change in the stuttering when at the hotspot frequency. I then discovered that I was actually changing VHF not UHF! I then started again (on UHF this time!), and took it down one at a time from 996 to (eventually) 990, an...

Re: Audio Stuttering
Firstly, thank you to all of you who replied with some great suggestions. I thought adjusting the frequency was easiest so started with that. My hotspot runs at 434.300 (and that seems to match with 434.300 on the Anytone). I did some trial and error moving the frequency up and down on the oGD-77 an...

Re: Audio Stuttering
Thank you both very much for the quick replies. I have created the video (after what seemed like ages waiting for someone to more than just key up!), and uploaded it my google drive. Hopefully the link will work... https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ak-hKddjvSdPehn2xjLuv_64QqHGLvJ1/view?usp=sharing In...

[Fixed] Audio Stuttering
Apologies if this has already been discussed, but having read through many posts I haven't come across it. I get a lot of audio stutter when receiving DMR on my OpenGD77 from my MMDVM hotstpot, but not on my Anytone UV878. I've tried turning calibration off and that hasn't made any difference, and I...

Hi from the UK
Hi There, Have had the GD77 for a year or so now, but only came across OpenGD77 a few weeks ago. Wow! What a vast improvement in usability and functionality! It's SO much quicker and easier to move around the handset and given this device a new lease of life for me. :D Then there's the hotspot. I'm ...
