Found it, it is a hardware issue with the speaker. The speaker cable has come off speaker just a soldering job. Thanks for the help sorry for mucking you around.

Now it has gone into a factory reset loop, every time i restart it it says 'factory int' and when i try to put a code plug into it it requires a password even in CSP expert mode.

Yeah that is why i though memory corruption or a damaged bit, byte of memory. I will try and roll bank to the stock firmware.

Hi Roger I have the same problem but i have no audio at all. I loaded the latest stable version (with the Merry Christmas Splash screen) and it did work for about 24 hours. Only thin did was changed zone and after a white it stopped, there is no audio on splash screen, DMR, FMN modes or button press...
