Hi All, I have a spare Charging Pod for the 77 and am thinking of using it to power the radio with a DC-DC converter. I have followed an article to make a Battery Eliminator that uses the same DC-DC converter, which suggests setting the voltage to the radio as 8.2v? Is this a good idea or should it ...

Thanks fer the reply Roger.
I didn't think that there shud be any difference between Bands?
Understood about to do list.
It does seem to lock up almost straight after start up , but not on UHF

Hi i'm G0 ANV from Cambridge UK.
I have been using DMR for about 2 years and lately the GD77 as a Hotspot.
I am about to run DV Gateway on 2m in my local area running Brandmeister.
Can often be heard on 2355 or 235475, both Scottish TG's

I have been using my GD77 Hotspot successfully on UHF. Yesterday i tried to use it on VHF. It locks up and the PI dashboard (Pistar4.10 RC6) shows TX, but there is no transmission from network. So today i updated to the latest FW. I can do one successful Parrot test on BM then it again locks up. Is ...
