Re: Latest version has been updated
I'll need to remove the Tier2 Alpha is the old version. Its been superseded by Tier2 Stable. I also have Tier2 Latest which is the less stable version, but recently it has been so unstable and fast moving that I didnt even update the Tier2 latest as about 5 versions per day were being created. Howe...

Re: Latest version has been updated
Just curious, is the "master" branch Tier 2 compliant already? Seems the builds of the "Tier 2 Alpha" branch on Github are farther in between. I haven't used my GD77 in hotspot mode, and there are a couple of DMR repeaters in my area, which I'd like to try to use on TS2.

Re: GD77 sales into Australia
I think the "30" is just an arbitrary/marketing number. I know several local (Philippine) hams who ordered, and with the potential market elsewhere, the number is certainly beyond 30. Maybe to create artificial demand? And those that have been marked as "sold out" are still being sold at the same pa...

Radioddity GD-73
OpenGD77 got me excited over my supposedly basic GD77, so over the weekend, I ordered a handful of radios from Radioddity.com -- GD77 with extra battery for $69, and several GD73 + hotspot for $109. I might resell some of these to local hams who don't have DMR yet (and convince them to turn to the d...

Re: Radio Locks in boot
Happens to my gd77 usually on its first boot of the day. Might have something to do with charge level, as I often encounter it when powering up after charging overnight.
Latest firmware too.

Re: Any BM Talkgroup for OpenGD77 users?
I recall you can use any of number, for instance your own. But instead of a private call, set it as a talkgroup. For instance, my ID 3134760 should work as TG. I'd be glad to monitor there in case anyone would like to test. Once we have confirmed that, perhaps we can use one of our IDs as TG (I'd be...

[Talkgroup 98977 for OpenGD77]
I'm curious whether there is a Brandmeister talkgroup where OpenGD77 users discuss either development or use.
We're all using DMR here, and most likely using Brandmeister, so I thought why not have somewhere we can QSO and get to know each other.

Re: Greetings from 4I1RAC / N2RAC
Daniel is working on making things work on Linux, and this may help make things work on the Mac. Good to hear, and I look forward to developments in that space. I liked how I was able to edit the codeplug (at least most of it) via text file, so it's all just copy, paste, and edit -- fewer mouse/cur...
