Re: New GD-77 / GD-77S / RD-5R / DM-1801 Beta

OK. I didn't understand the bug from your description, but I see there is a bug with the radio operating in DMO mode even for RMO channels for the fist transmission on a channel or the first time that the VFO screen is selected When the PTT is first pressed the radio is transmitting in DMO even whe...

Re: New GD-77 / GD-77S / RD-5R / DM-1801 Beta

For DMR channels where Tx and Rx frequency are not the same, the radio operates in RMO automatically In RMO if there is no DMR signal from the repeater, the radio sends the WakeUp packets. These are not DMO, they are part of the RMO protocol In effect on the first TX the radio sends carrier but not...

Re: New GD-77 / GD-77S / RD-5R / DM-1801 Beta

Hi all. I have a TYT MD9600, a MD380UV and a Baofeng DM1801 with the latest version of Opengd installed, the version with the new option "Force DMO". The three transceivers have the same behavior the first time they are powered on. When you are on a duplex channel with Force DMO option set to NO , ...

Re: New Beta 2023 09 03

I agree EB3AM. If you have a channel with APRS configured but not GPS position, TX remains ON after releasing PTT. The only way to stop it is powering down the radio. I have a TYT MD380UV with GPS. After having adquired GPS position, if you disconnect GPS seems as if last position was saved and the ...

Re: Experimental version to help DMR breakup

After one day of intensive testing the best results for me have been with the 13 frames, close to the 6 frames version. Finally I've been able to listen to my dmo at home without almost any dropouts nor audio cuts. I was using the original Radioddity firmware because of this. I'm very happy, many th...

Re: Tier2 vs Tier1 firmware

Change the Calibration parameters in CPS "Reference oscillator tuning" from 1000 to 995 do the trick and now the new GD77 listening to the hotspot... I can confirm this behavior. My GD-77 is working 99.99% after changing this parameter. Audio cuts have gone  My default value was 996 and I have...
