Hi Colin,
the GD77 is much more easily overloaded than many other radios, could that be the problem ?

Hi Joe,
I think this has already been fixed if you look at the latest development release at least it seems ok on my GD77.

Re: Looking for feedback re proposed features
Hi Joe, although most blind hams have probably got used to the beeps for ts1/ts2 and dmr/fm I agree that it would be far better to have the voicing rather than having to remember the beep meanings and I also agree an easy way to carry out a quick monitor the input frequency in FM whether or not CTCS...

Re: Voice prompts
I can get this to happen if the VFO is set as a digital channel and the star key press has been used to go to FM mode. If you then move the squelch to zero in the option menu it doesn't open the squelch and it is still at the old value probably 45%. It doesn't happen if you have the VFO set properl...

Re: Sight impaired amateurs
Patrick,
Perhaps you can answer a question for me. A friend of mine is trying to get onto the Blind Hams hub with his GD77 but his repeater is on the Phoenix network. I know that you have link to the Brandmeister network but do you also have 31679 on the Phoenix system ?

Re: Sight impaired amateurs
Hi,
this just means you don't have the latest version of the package please download it again from my web-site. I updated the package when Roger changed the extension to vpr.

Re: Sight impaired amateurs
OpenGD77 package for blind hams Hi, so here it is for you to either love or hate, I can only say I have done my best and none of it would have been possible without the unbelievable amount of work that Roger VK3KYY has put in to get the CPS and the Firmware to a point where it is really useable by b...

Re: Sight impaired amateurs
You can try truncating the letters and number audio files a little but its not going to make a lot of difference from the latest version with faster speech speed recordings I did try manually clipping the files but it made things sound worse When the speech synthesis system records words like "DMR"...
