Re: New ongoing "Development" version has been created

Just a quick note to say that I loaded the 1/19/2021 firmware release into one of my GD77's yesterday and ran it most of the day. It behaved fine with all the usual tasks I use it for. This morning I loaded the same firmware into my second GD77 and it is behaving fine as well. Looks like a nice rele...

Re: New ongoing "Development" version has been created

I loaded the Oct 30 2020 [16:50:01] build on both of my GD77 radios and the features I use are working well. I have not yet tried out the new VFO A/B Dual Watch feature but the idea is very clever and will certainly be useful to me out in the field. By the way this update was the first time I loaded...

Re: New ongoing "Development" version has been created

Roger, I loaded the 10/16/2020 Development version into both of my GD77 radios and everything I use is working perfectly. By the way, I very much like the SK1 long press implementation for the monitor feature that showed up in the 10/10/2020 release and continues with this release. It keeps getting ...

Re: New ongoing "Development" version has been created

I've loaded the 10/4/2020 firmware into both of my GD77 radios and everything is working well. The implementation of power level settings for individual channels is very slick in the Channel Details menu of the radio and also in the new CPS. Nicely done!

Re: Proposal - remove the "Normal" option from the Sound Options Prompt setting

I agree with Marko on this. The two tone beeps are more useful than the normal mode.

Re: New ongoing "Development" version has been created

Hi Roger and Daniel, I loaded the Jul 10 2020 [945ca1b] firmware into both of my GD77 radios this morning and have run them for about 15 minutes. Both radios are running fine and the scan confirmation beep is back when a scan is initialized. A quick check of the functions I normally use indicates ev...

Re: New ongoing "Development" version has been created

Its good to know its not just me thats running these new development releases. Hi Roger, Just a quick note to let you know the development version [91dec5d] July 2 2020 is running great on both of my GD77 radios. No anomalies noted with DMR or FM functions and also with general scanning. I ended up...
