I have a newer radio myself, and see the same problems with audio with the Tier II firmware which makes me go back to the Tier I firmware (I keep trying the new versions of the Tier II firmware). I had suspected it was something slightly different hardware wise with the newer radios.

I tried it with my Jumbospot and N5BOC mmdvm hs_hat hotspots and I still had the same 60ms audio defect pop up occasionally. So not related to the DVMega radio hat.
