problem solved. I replace the it with blue 0805 smd LED. It should smaller size than 0805.

Is the problem the LED or the light-pipe I recall problems on some radios where the plastic light-pipe was not in contact the the LED, hence not all light was transferred to the outside of the radio. I just got my 2nd DM1801. Unfortunately, the RX led is very dim. Anybody know how to replace this LED and what type of Smd LED used in DM1801.
