as of this date 21 of april. is there a way to get the hotspot back up to 3 watts from 1. i had good results on earlier binaries further distance in my town. VHF still wont work no matter what so I am using UHF which is quite stable both on gd-77 and Baefeng thanks for all your hard work Alec N1AJW

Guys to change the power in pi-star you go to expert mode and mmdvmhost settings. "RF Power changes the power. 100 =1 watt. lesser numbers are less. I would like to find out how to make it 2 watts or 3 watts for longer trials. Thanks Alec N1AJW

the 180-1 works great. put the latest which was the first firmware in and worked just like gd77. uhf worked fine. vhf nope lost synch. but i am happy didnt have time yet to go far to test distance. I'm off to VK Wednesday

everyone gets it if u are on BM just program it into your radio codeplug and PTT.
