Re: Hotspot mode - Apparently stuck in TX

You should read/post it here http://www.opengd77.com/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=154&sid=272ed50c60de6c97d2294f9978053daf Hey Roger, I've been testing for the last two and a half days, with last FW before this latest one. This morning I have flashed latest. Since then, there was less traffic then usual and...

Re: Hotspot mode - Apparently stuck in TX

Well first and foremost this is not the correct place for this issue. It is not the same topic. That being said, and I am just guessing, but have you tried pressing the black button above the blue button when turning the GD77 on. Hold that button for about 5 seconds when you turn it on and that will...

Re: Hotspot mode - Apparently stuck in TX

Fair enough. But the thing is I have both the GD-77 and a DVmega single band raspberry pi hat and it does the same thing. Just not as often. With that being said I am changing one setting at a time in Pi_star on the GD77spot (what I call it) to see if it makes a difference. So far so good. I am keep...

Re: Hotspot mode - Apparently stuck in TX

I must respectfully disagree. I run three hotspots daily, two simultaneously. Two Chinese generic (MMDVM hat on Pi 0W), one at work, one at home, and GD77 (powered by Pi 3 A+) is always with me. So wherever I am, I test GD77, while having another one for comparison purposes. All run latest Pi-Star....

Re: Hotspot mode - Apparently stuck in TX

Roger, First and foremost, yes it is not a big deal. It is something that can be dealt with at a later time. I don't think it is the GD-77 at all. As stated before I run two hotspots. One is with the Open GD77 and the other is a DVMEGA and it did the same thing. Sometime in the night so that tells m...

Re: Hotspot mode - Apparently stuck in TX

Roger, I am on the TGIF network (don't use BM at all by choice) and this happens to me so I don't think is one or the other. That being said. Last night I was on Pi-Star_RPi_V3.4.17_20-Jan-2019 with the latest dashboard update. I upgraded to Pi-Star:4.1.0-RC5 / Dashboard: 20191122 before going to be...

Re: Hotspot mode - Apparently stuck in TX

Ok so it is now 9 am EST and I just woke up and checked on both of my hotspots. It seems that having a nextion screen connected or disconnected does nothing. It is still stuck in TX. If you have any other suggestions I would be willing to try them.

Re: Hotspot mode - Apparently stuck in TX

Just a question for those who have this issue. Are you running a nextion screen? Let me explain. I have two hotspots. Both are raspberry pi. Both run pi-star. One uses a dvmega and the other uses GD-77 with OpenGD77. The devmega is on 70cm here in the US. The GD77Spot (what I call it) is on 2 meter....
